On April 14th, we celebrated SUDC's 10th anniversary with the SUDC Starlight Cruise around Manhattan. It was a memorable night and we would like to thank everyone who helped make our celebration such a great success. Benefiting SUDC research, advocacy and awareness, the event raised over $77,000 to continue SUDC's mission!

 

Upon embarking, guests were greeted with melodic sounds of a magnificent quartet while they mingled, dined and took in the beautiful views of the New York City skyline. The silent auction contained a lot of great items and had everyone in a bidding frenzy! A particularly memorable moment of the night was presenting Dr. Henry Krous with the SUDC Star of the Decade Award. There are no words to describe just how much Dr. Krous means to those so personally affected by SUDC.

 

Just after passing the majestic Statue of Liberty, Matthew Polenzani, a SUDC parent, performed a private concert for our guests. Moving most to tears, Matthew not only shared his voice, but he shared himself by choosing songs so very personal to him and his family.
