Welcome to Lyla’s memorial website! We would love for you to take the time to get to know our little princess. We never want our little Lyla to be forgotten and this site was created with help from The SUDC Program to keep her memory alive. We were richly blessed to have had Lyla for 1 year, 2 months and 26 precious days. God gave us a true gift when He gave her to us! We will treasure and cherish those memories with her forever. We will always feel empty without her, but she will remain in our hearts until we see her again someday in Heaven.

 

We want to thank all of our family and friends and our two church families for helping us through this tragic time, as well as all the District #3 Firefighters who have given us so much support. Above all, we thank our Lord for giving us the “peace that passes all understanding” and giving us the comfort we need.

 

We cling to these verses:

 

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4

 

Jesus said, “Let the little children come unto Me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14
