2007 Joshua’s Run For a Reason

Please join us for the 2nd Annual Joshua’s Run For a Reason on Sunday, September 23, 2007 in Arlington Heights, IL. The whole family will enjoy a 5K Run or 2K Family Fitness Walk, fun kids’ activities, music, and great food! Registration begins at 7:00 am, race starts at 8:00 am.



Diane and Rob Burda, along with their family and friends, are hosting the event in honor of their son, Joshua. Joshua was a happy, robust 20 month old who died in his sleep in March of 2004. His death was ruled Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), a cousin of SIDS that affects children after their first birthday.

Event Details

5K Run
Join us for a 5K Run near downtown Arlington Heights! Gift certificates will be awarded to the top male and female finishers. This event will be an officially timed event. The 5K Run begins at 8:00am.

2K Family Fitness Walk
Join your family and friends for a walk through the neighborly streets of Arlington Heights. The walk begins at 8:15am.

Kids’ ¼ Mile Dash
Children 10 years and younger may register to participate in a ¼ mile race and receive a t-shirt and prize. The run begins at 9:00am at Recreation Park.
