Medical Care After SUDC

"'Will this happen again? If no one can tell me why my child died, how can anyone be sure it won't happen again? How can I be proactive to protect my family...and have some peace of mind?' Families who are coping with a sudden unexplained death of a family member often have anxiety about their family health and the risk of reocurrence."

Cardiogenetic Clinics for Families

Some specially trained clinics exist to screen and evaluate families with a history of sudden unexplained death.

Additionally, the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES) is also a good resource to locate specialists who can assist those in screening family members of sudden death.

Our efforts to raise awareness wouldn't be possible without the inspiration and enthusiasm of the SUDC community.
